“Forty-seven? Are you Ten One Hundred?”
“Forty-seven?”
“Forty-seven!”
A MALE VOICE ON RADIO(in ecstacy): “Yes.”
Dispatcher: “Yes?”
MALE VOICE: “Oh yes.”
Dispatcher: “Forty-seven.”
MALE VOICE: “Yes.”
Dispatcher: “Forty-seven, respond!”
MALE VOICE: “Uhm, right, Dispatch. Responding forthwith.”
Sound of car cranking and then speeding off into the distance.
Lights come up and a twenty-something blonde comes on stage, shyly smiling.
